Production of the component "Cable clamp"
Hráček, Josef ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Žák, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the suggestion of a cable clamp bracket, which is used for fastening cables. The component is made from a stainless steel sheet X5CrNi18-10 with a thickness of 2 mm and manufacturing production 200 000 pieces per year. Through comparing the manufacturing options, the production based on a progressive combination tool was chosen. By considering the viability, setting the unrolled shape, placing the part on the strip, and choosing the coil as the semi-finished product, the manufacturing process, consisting of five steps, was selected. In accordance with manufacturing methods and, technological and construction calculation the tool was constructed. Eccentric press machine S 160 E, by Šmeral Brno a.s., was selected as suitable machine. Employing economical evaluation, the market value was set at 25 Kč, with a 42% margin. The turning point was set at 38 970 pieces.
Studying the effect of mixed shielding gas during laser welding of austenitic stainless steels
Žemlová, Markéta ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with problems of laser welding in shielding gases. On the basis of theoretical knowledge in this thesis, was made welding an experiment of 10 samples of steel X5CrNi18-10 in two different shielding gases. Flow of shielding gases has been shown by schlieren method. On the samples of welding joints have been made mechanical tests (tensile test and hardness test). Welded joints were metallography evaluated and structure of them was confirmed by measurements on ferrite meter.
Comparison of laser welds with using direct and scanner welding head
Kudr, Martin ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The master thesis presents a comparison of direct laser and scanner welding. At first, using literary studies explained the technology of laser welding, followed by a practical comparison of these methods. The experiments were performed on austenitic stainless steel X5CrNi18-10 and S235JR structural steels. These methods were compared in welding times, geometry and weld hardness, mechanical properties and economy of use in industry. The comparison shows that the scanner welding is qualitatively equivalent to the conventional laser welding and is also economical.
Geometry Optimization of the Stamped Part
Faltýnek, František ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The project presents a solution of geometrical influence on the thinning of the stamped part with thickness 0.3 mm. It can be made from stainless steel X2CrCuTi18, X5CrNi18-10 or X5CrNi18-10 with additional heat treatment. Based on the literature review the technology of drawing was described and a theoretical analysis of shallow drawing was carried out. Material models for numerical simulation and parametric model of punch and die were created. The analysis of thinning dependence on the geometry of the dimple was performed using FEM analysis in ANSYS software. The smallest thinning of value 9.2% was found for X5CrNi18-10 steel with additional annealing and for the upper limit of the dimple radius values, which was set to 1 mm.
Manufacturing of a Hand Dryer Cover
Štancl, Oldřich ; Jopek, Miroslav (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the hand dryer cover made of stainless steel X5CrNi18-10. The manufactured part has a hollow rectangular shape with a rounded bottom and a constant wall thickness of 1 mm. Due to the simplicity of the shape, material properties and the annual production series of 200,000 pieces, deep drawing technology is chosen for production. The part is produced in one drawing operation, for which the necessary technological and control calculations are performed. Using the calculated parameters, a DIEFFENBACHER PO 250 hydraulic three-acting press is selected. A simple drawing tool is constructed for the machine, whose operation and manufacturability of the cover is subsequently verified using numerical simulation in the PAM-Stamp software.
